SKD COVID PROTOCOLS

Dear SKD Parish Family,
As part of our ongoing effort to respond responsibly to our new reality of living with COVID and other emerging infections, and after careful review and upon the advice of the Parish Reopening Committee and the approval of Fr. Oscar Pratt, the Parish Policy for the use of masks during liturgical celebrations will be: mask use is strongly preferred but no longer mandatory at this time. This policy takes effect immediately.  We do want to stress however, that we hold the health and welfare of our family as a top priority.  To that end in deference to our church family members who are immunocompromised or at risk, we strongly encourage anyone who has a respiratory illness (cold, flu, covid, etc.) or is knowingly exposed to wear a mask, if you do come to church. We also strongly advise members of the SKD family who may be vulnerable to consider continuing to wear a mask.   Please stay home if you are running a temperature or if you’re not feeling well.

As always, the health and well-being of our parish family remain our highest priority. We will continue to monitor and adjust our processes as needed with the goal: to always keep each other safe.
